A contemporary private villa designed to feel calm, composed, and quietly luxurious.
The home is shaped around light and clear circulation, with a strong emphasis on wall cladding, layered finishes, and controlled detailing to create a refined, hotel-like atmosphere. Despite its elegance, the layout is planned as a highly functional family home — peaceful, tranquil, and easy to live in.
A six-bedroom family home re-planned extensively to create openness, flow, and connection between spaces.
Significant structural work was undertaken to open up the ground floor, allowing the cinema room, kitchen, living, and dining areas to function as a cohesive whole. The master suite was further extended to incorporate a walk-in wardrobe and additional storage, while every space throughout the home was personalised to reflect the family’s lifestyle and needs.
Full renovation focused on softening structure through proportion, form, and material selection.
Curved walls and elegant panelling introduce a sense of movement and refinement, balanced by a neutral, restrained colour palette. On the ground floor, walls were removed to create a continuous living, dining, and kitchen space, improving flow and daylight while maintaining a calm, cohesive interior language.
Bespoke cabinetry and architectural picture windows introduce a sense of modern luxury, replacing dark textures with a bright, airy palette.
The living areas and kitchen were reimagined to maximize daylight and storage, while the master suite was transformed into a serene private retreat. Complete with a custom walk-in wardrobe and a spa-like bathroom, the redesigned layout maintains a calm, cohesive interior language throughout.

With over two decades of experience in construction, design, and project delivery, Shalini brings a rare combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and hands-on leadership to every project at Leif Group.
She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business — a foundation that informs her structured, detail-driven approach to both design and execution.
Known for her calm decision-making under pressure and uncompromising standards, she is deeply involved from concept through completion, ensuring that every project is delivered with clarity, accountability, and respect for both budget and design intent.
